Maple Syrup Time at the Genesee Country Village and Museum

What a wonderful opportunity to see and experience the way maple syrup is made. From Colonial times to the current day practices, the process is practically the same strategy of collecting the syrup and cooking it. Don’t forget to stop at the Altay General Store in the Village to see how the colonists and settlers preserved their maple syrup!
