Highland Games are an unique mix of sporting, the cultural, the music, and the social. They comprise a program of field and track events, piping and Highland dancing competitions, and heavy events like the tug of war, the hammer throw and tossing the caber. The Games are delightful to watch and the shopping is incredibly fun!
Each year residents of the Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas gather and enjoy the athletics, music, food and fun (and shopping)of the Highland Games. The Games and gatherings reflect the deep connections and impact the Scots and their descendants have had on the United States. It’s an amazing family friendly event.

The Scottish Festival at Old Orchard Beach is on, Saturday, June 3, 2023, is the only Maine Festival held at the beach! You can hear the bagpipes, eat the haggis and maybe take a taste of a traditional Scottish Whisky. There is fun for the entire family and it is a “Rain or Shine Event”. Celebrating 29 years of Scottish Games and Scottish experiences! The Loch Norman Highland Games in Huntersville, NC, are among the most historical Highland Games that Lords of the Seas vends at.
